The words on a Hainan price list
Agarwood grade names are the fastest way to get lost in a negotiation. Here is what the ones we use actually mean, so you can tell what you are being quoted.

| Diaokou | 吊口 | Resin laid down on a wound on the hanging part of the trunk — a long-standing Hainan grade. |
| Worm-hole | 虫漏 | Resin formed inside tunnels bored by insects. |
| Ant-hole | 蚁漏 | The same process, in tunnels made by ants. |
| Skin oil | 皮油 | Oil concentrated near the surface of the wood rather than at the core. |
| Heart-wood oil | 树心油 | Oil concentrated in the centre of the trunk — usually the densest material. |
| Baotou | 包头 | Resin that wraps around the head of a cut branch. |
| Baoke | 包壳 | An old encrusted shell of resin on the outside of the log. |
| Purple oil | 紫油 | Oil-heavy wood with a darker, denser character. |
| Binderless | 无粘粉 | Pressed from wood powder alone, with no charcoal or binder added. |

The things buyers ask first
What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no single catalogue minimum, because the floor depends on the grade and the packaging. Common grades in stock packs start lower; a custom blend pressed for your brand starts higher. Tell us the SKU and the quantity you had in mind and we will give you the exact number for it.
Can I get samples before ordering in bulk?
Yes. Sampling before a bulk commitment is normal and expected. Send us the grades or lines you are considering and we will put together a sample set with the wholesale prices attached, so you can burn and compare the same material you would be buying.
Do you do private label and OEM?
Both. Private label means our approved product in your packaging and artwork. OEM means we develop the blend, burn time and format with you from the start. Either way we can also supply unbranded bulk for you to repack at destination.
What Incoterms do you ship on?
EXW and FOB are our standard terms, and we quote CIF on request. Samples go by courier, bulk goes by air or sea depending on weight and how fast you need it. Tell us the destination port and we will quote the options side by side.
How is the incense packed for bulk shipment?
Bulk is packed by weight, in your packaging or ours, and cartons are built for sea freight rather than retail display. Incense is fragile and hygroscopic, so inner protection and moisture control matter more than the outer look.
What documents come with a shipment?
A standard commercial set — invoice, packing list, and the origin and phytosanitary documents that a plant product needs. We prepare them before dispatch so your customs broker is not waiting on paperwork after the container has sailed.
How should the product be stored?
Keep it sealed, dry and away from direct sun and strong smells. Agarwood takes on odours from its surroundings, so a stockroom next to cleaning chemicals will ruin a batch. Stored properly, sticks and coils hold their character for a long time.
